Connect Ventures is the venture capital arm of CAA. We invest in the infrastructure of culture — the founders and companies rebuilding how entertainment, sport, music, and creativity are produced, distributed, and owned.

Our thesis is simple to state and hard to execute. The industries CAA has represented for five decades are in the middle of a generational rewrite. Technology changes who gets to create, who gets paid, and who gets heard. The founders who understand both sides — the craft and the code — are the ones we want to back.

Pitch Intelligence is the operating system we built for ourselves. Every pitch that crosses our desk is parsed, analysed, and scored on a transparent 1-to-5 scale by a language model we have tuned specifically for this work. A partner reads every qualified pitch. Nothing is auto-declined. Nothing is auto-approved. The machine writes the first draft; we write the decision.

We treat every override as a lesson. When a partner’s judgement differs from the model’s, the reasoning is captured as structured feedback and fed back into the calibration of the system. Over time, the platform becomes a better mirror for the taste and rigour of our firm — not by learning on its own, but by being taught, deliberately, one disagreement at a time.
